"


"although there are many brushless DC motor manufacturers, there are few integrated electronic control solutions on the market." Laschewski added that "it is still very difficult to find a low-cost brushless DC motor manufacturer that can produce brushless DC motors with highly integrated electronic controls."


Brushless DC motor technology market is expected to grow. First, the falling cost of electronic products will make them cheaper. The current market requires the motor to be lighter, smaller and higher power density, which promote the development of brushless DC motor. The use trend of fast-brush DC motor is likely to improve the diversity and functionality of the motor, and it is easier to realize the networking between intelligent drivers.


The design time can be reduced by using a single-chip solution, and the software can be applied to different motor types and attributes. Brush DC motor solutions can now be replaced by brushless DC motors that look the same but can be intelligently controlled internally.


Laschewski said that it must be admitted that the conversion of brushless DC motors, especially in terms of programming, is indeed very complicated, but choosing the right controller unit is different. The integrated electronic control can achieve better self-diagnosis function and automatic adjustment of system parameters. Finally, the single-chip design solution can reduce the circuit complexity.


By adjusting the motor parameters in the software to change the exchange scheme can be suitable for different motor types and properties. The high level of reusability of hardware and software enables a rapid response to changes in customer needs. In contrast, standard microcontrollers or state machines are usually only suitable for specific motor types or applications.


According to Laschewski, Microopen Semiconductor's single-chip HVC 4223F embedded high-voltage motor controller enables customers to effectively equip customers with a complete brake platform independent of the motor type. On this platform, users can establish a distributed intelligent brake network that can communicate independently or within the system.
