With the rapid and steady development of China's economy, the demand for electricity is also increasing. As the basic equipment of power transmission and transformation in power industry, transformer is widely used in power plants, converter stations, substations and users, and occupies a very important position in the power industry. Its demand is also increasing day by day, and the market prospect is very broad. This puts forward higher requirements for the production efficiency of transformers in our country, at the same time, with the global energy crisis, it is imperative to produce more energy-saving and efficient transformers. It is under this background that the manufacturing standards of transformers in China have been raised again and again, and the requirements for performance indicators are becoming more and more stringent.


There are two development directions of transformer in the future: one is ultra-high voltage, large capacity, and the other is high efficiency, intelligence, small size and low noise. The quality and economic and technical performance of the transformer are not only affected by the structural design, but also depend to a large extent on the technical level of manufacturing technology and equipment. In order to meet the increasingly stringent requirements for the quality and performance of transformers, we must improve the technical level of transformer foil winding machines so that they can produce transformers that can meet the needs of national power development.


The transformer is generally composed of iron core, coil, shell and necessary insulation materials. The coils of transformers are generally divided into high-voltage coils and low-voltage coils. High-voltage coils are generally wound with circular insulated wires, and low-voltage coils are generally wound with flat insulated wires or foil. The coil winding of transformer is the core process of transformer manufacturing, which has a great influence on the performance of transformer. It not only directly determines the main economic and technical indexes such as the external size, loss and weight of the transformer, but also directly affects the main quality indexes such as mechanical properties, insulation performance and heat resistance of the transformer. The traditional winding of transformer coil relies on manpower to wind the insulated wire to the workpiece according to the requirements of the production process, and the operator counts the resistance. Using the traditional winding method, not only the winding efficiency is low, but also the quality of the finished coil is poor. At present, automatic winding machine is commonly used in transformer coil winding, which can significantly improve production efficiency and wiring accuracy. Among the automatic winding machines, there are vertical winders for winding large transformers, horizontal winders and foil winders for winding transformers with lower voltage levels and smaller capacity.


Winding machine is widely used in electric power, mining machinery, furniture processing and other industries, for general equipment. Through the transfer to the production site of winding machine enterprises, most of the JG series ring winding machines in use at present have greater safety hidden dangers. Once they are operated improperly, not only the winding will be invalidated, but also it may cause serious damage to human fingers. In order to reduce the scrap rate of the winding and increase the safety of the wing, it is very necessary to install the winding machine protection device.
