FFB Brake Motor launched by Emerson Industrial Automation

OFweek Industrial Control Network News: Emerson Industrial Automation has recently introduced FFB brake motors that can be quickly and easily integrated into fixed or adjustable speed applications.

The adoption of the modular encoder makes it a general-purpose motor suitable for variable speed applications from the simplest to the most complex. The industrial control performance of the motor (all friction parts run-in according to the standard) and a wide range of brake function monitoring accessories (open, closed and wear sensors, etc.) greatly improve the safety of the transmission chain.

The multi-voltage and multi-frequency structure of FFB brake motors covers 80% of the world's power supply and is suitable for many countries. Only one product reference is needed, instead of four or five as before.

In order to greatly save energy, FFB brake motors offer different efficiency levels: non-IE, IE2 and IE3. The products meet the requirements of improving energy efficiency in the application of electrochemical industry, and are suitable for variable speed operation.
